Cantors in Canada: Yesteryears

This presentation will explore the history of Cantors and Cantorial music in Canada, from the beginning of the 20th century, when cantors began to arrive in Winnipeg, Windsor, Montreal, and Toronto. With audio and video clips, we will experience the great voices of the past and the passion of those voices, as they appealed to the Jewish communities.
